Description
With the world’s richest heritage of late antique mosaics, Ravenna was a bridge between East and West, the last splendid capital of the Roman Empire and the most important Byzantine enclave in Italy. We will admire the gold of the Basilica of San Vitale; the dome of golden stars and the cobalt blue tiles of the small Mausoleum, the elegance of the apostles in the Neonian Baptistery.
