ArtAway was created to promote the knowledge of Italian history and art before visiting it live and help people discover places in our country that are not accessible at the moment.
The project was born from an idea of Paolo Gabriele Falcone e Laura Lamonea, as a reaction to the moment of worldwide difficulty. Their main goals are supporting the local art guides, who have been profoundly impacted by the current events, and promote culture and exchange of ideas between people. The development took place in collaboration with the production center and festival Video Sound Art based in Milan, Italy, during the 2020 COVID-19 quarantine.
